Karlee Smith Fit Guide

Keys to a Proper Fit

Feeling great support depends on your support, band, & straps.
Try these tips to make sure your in the right bra.

Test the Support

First, maximum support is recommended for post-op reduction surgery recovery. Next in line for support are the breast reconstruction patients, and finally the moderate support bras are preferred for post surgical augmentation. All styles are supportive for women with or without breast surgery.

Test the Band

The comfort band should feel firm. Place underhand against body. Put one finger between you and your bra to check you’re wearing the right size.

Test the Straps

If you can pull your strap up to your ears you might need to go down a band size. Straps should be adjusted in the middle not too tight and not too loose. Just right!

To hand wash or not to hand wash?

Hand washing is ideal. Hand washing using cold water and lingerie safe detergent is recommended but machine washing is fine if you tuck your garments into a lingerie bag. Be sure to select the coldest water and most gentle cycle.

Can I put these bras in the dryer?

Air drying is also preferable, but if you machine dry on low heat then just be sure you keep your bras in a lingerie bag.

Is it best to hang up my bra or can it be folded in my dresser?

Storing your bras correctly is critical to keeping them around. Racerback, soft cup, sport bras can be carefully folded to your liking and gently placed in your dresser drawer.

  1. Sharon (verified owner)

Very soft silky feeling, yet still firm compression. Being a rather large person with a gut and love handles, it tends to ride up some. But the band does not roll. It is basically quite comfortable.

  2. Sue Ellen Garber (verified owner)

Had the black one for 2 years since surgery. Wore the heck out if it. Just feels so soft and comfortable. Trying the white one next. Need more colors.

  3. Sue Ellen Garber

Just bought 2nd bra. Had the black Velcro bra since my surgery year and half ago. Best support ever had, wore everyday. Wish they had more comors

  4. Kim Wellington

Supports more than the high end running bras I have, but with super soft fabric. Love the thick bottom band. Might try another after stiches removed.
