BREAST AUGMENTATION AVERAGE COST U.S.
What is the Breast Augmentation Average Cost U.S.? Although we wish to address every woman’s needs and concerns regarding breast augmentation, no matter where you might live in the world, today we’d like to touch upon the topic of costs for breast enlargement here in the U.S., where we currently reside. Most of our posts tend to address medical concerns, realities, afflictions, etc. But one thing we haven’t mentioned in a while, is the very real issue of budgeting your breast implant surgery.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the average cost as of breast implant surgery actually averages from area to area; and so, depending upon where you live in the U.S., you could spend quite a bit more than if you simply lived in a different city. For example, as of 2013 statistics, the average cost, according to the ASPS, is approximately $3,700. But if you travel around, for example, (as of 2012 stats in each of these cities) you’d be looking at something like this (amounts rounded, and include physician, anesthesia, and facility fees):
- Cleveland, Ohio—$5,850.
- Dallas, Texas—$5,890.
- As low as $6,800 in Los Angeles, California.
- New York City, New York—$7,300.
Evidently, those places where the cost of living is higher, the overall cost for breast augmentation surgery will be higher [although the cost of living in Dallas, Texas is comparable to L.A., according to some sources.
The most important thing, perhaps, to remember is to find a really good surgeon; preferably certified by the ASPS, and do all of your homework about that doctor, and try to ask other patients about how satisfied they are.
